Safari Overview
During this 6-day camping safari, you will discover four of the most remarkable wildlife reserves in northern Tanzania. In addition to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, your journey will include visits to Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara National Park.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha and Transfer to Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure commences with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha. You will then drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant populations and iconic baobab trees. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on an afternoon game drive, exploring the park’s diverse habitats and wildlife. A picnic lunch will be provided at a scenic location within the park. After a rewarding day of game viewing, you will set up camp at a designated site in Tarangire. Dinner will be served at the camp, where you will also spend the night, surrounded by the serene sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast at your campsite, you will travel to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush landscapes and rich birdlife. Upon arrival, you will embark on an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s unique environment and observe its wildlife. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed during your game drive. In the late afternoon, you will set up camp at a designated site within Lake Manyara National Park. After dinner, you will spend the night at the campsite, immersed in the tranquil ambiance of the park.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater
Following breakfast at the campsite, you will leave Lake Manyara and journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. As a UNESCO World Heritage site, the crater is famous for its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. Upon arrival, you will descend into the crater for a full day of game viewing. The crater’s diverse habitats offer excellent opportunities to see a variety of animals, including the possibility of encountering the Big Five. A picnic lunch will be provided on the crater floor, amidst breathtaking scenery. In the late afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and head to a nearby campsite where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at the campsite, you will depart Ngorongoro Crater and travel to Serengeti National Park, celebrated for its vast plains and impressive wildlife. Upon arrival, you will embark on an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s expansive savannahs and observe its diverse animal population. A picnic lunch will be served during your drive. In the evening, you will set up camp within the Serengeti, where you will have dinner and spend the night under the stars.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
The fifth day is dedicated to further exploration of Serengeti National Park. After breakfast at your campsite, you will embark on a full day of game drives, offering ample opportunities to experience the park’s rich wildlife and stunning landscapes. Depending on the time of year, you might witness the spectacular Great Migration or see other notable wildlife. A picnic lunch will be provided during your game drives. In the evening, you will return to your Serengeti campsite for dinner and another night in the heart of the park.

Day 6: Serengeti to Arusha
On the final day of your safari, you will have breakfast at the campsite before setting out for a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. This final game drive provides one last opportunity to observe the park’s wildlife and scenery. Afterward, you will begin your journey back to Arusha. Arriving in the late afternoon, this concludes your 6-day private camping safari, leaving you with lasting memories of Tanzania’s incredible wildlife and landscapes.
