Safari Overview
The 6-day Tanzania Lodge Safari offers an extensive and engaging adventure across some of Tanzania’s top game parks. You will begin by exploring Tarangire National Park, known for its impressive elephant herds, striking baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. The journey continues to Serengeti National Park, famous for its annual wildebeest migration, where you will have the chance to observe predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
Next, you’ll visit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a vast volcanic caldera rich with wildlife. The safari concludes with a visit to Lake Manyara National Park, celebrated for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and remarkable bird species.
Throughout the safari, you will stay in comfortable lodges equipped with amenities to help you unwind after each day of game drives. Experienced guides will lead you on these drives to enhance your chances of spotting the Big Five and other fascinating wildlife.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure starts with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers a unique wildlife experience. Upon arrival, you will embark on a game drive to explore the park’s varied landscapes and observe its diverse wildlife. A picnic lunch will be provided at a designated spot within the park. After a day of game viewing, you will head to a comfortable lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation, surrounded by the tranquility of the African bush.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After enjoying breakfast at the lodge, you will depart Tarangire and journey to Serengeti National Park, known for its vast plains and renowned for the Great Migration. The drive takes you through scenic countryside, leading you to the heart of the Serengeti. Upon arrival, you will take part in an afternoon game drive to witness the park’s extraordinary wildlife and stunning landscapes. A picnic lunch will be served during your exploration. In the evening, you will check into a lodge or campsite within the Serengeti, where you will have dinner and spend the night immersed in the natural beauty of the park.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park
The third day is dedicated to further exploration of Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, you will set out for a full day of game drives, discovering more of the park’s wildlife and landscapes. The Serengeti is famous for its diverse animal population and, depending on the season, the Great Migration. A picnic lunch will be provided during your game drives. After another exciting day, you will return to your lodge or campsite for dinner and an overnight stay, enjoying the serenity of the Serengeti under the stars.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
On the fourth day, you will enjoy breakfast at your lodge before traveling to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its stunning scenery and abundant wildlife. Once you reach the crater, you will descend into the caldera for a full day of game viewing. The diverse habitats within the crater provide opportunities to see a wide range of animals, including the Big Five. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed on the crater floor amidst the breathtaking views. In the afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and head to a nearby lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara
After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park. Known for its lush vegetation and rich birdlife, Lake Manyara offers a different perspective of Tanzania’s wildlife. You will embark on a game drive through the park, exploring its unique landscapes and spotting a variety of animals. A picnic lunch will be served during your exploration. In the late afternoon, you will travel to a lodge near Lake Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay, relaxing in the serene environment.

Day 6: Lake Manyara to Arusha
On your final day, you will have breakfast at the lodge before beginning your journey back to Arusha. Depending on your departure time, you might have an opportunity for a brief morning game drive in Lake Manyara. Afterward, you will drive back to Arusha, where your safari adventure concludes with arrival in the late afternoon.
