On this 4-day camping safari in Tanzania, you will explore three of the Northern Circuit’s most renowned destinations: Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti National Park.

Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Your private camping safari begins with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha and a drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This park, known for its lush landscapes and diverse birdlife, offers a unique wildlife experience. Upon arrival, you will embark on an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s distinctive features and observe its various animal species. A picnic lunch will be served during your exploration. After a rewarding day, you will set up camp at a designated campsite within the park, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Day 2: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater
Following breakfast at your campsite, you will depart Lake Manyara and head towards the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site famed for its stunning natural beauty and rich wildlife. Upon arrival, you will descend into the crater for a full day of game viewing. The diverse ecosystems within the crater provide excellent opportunities to see a variety of animals, including the possibility of spotting the Big Five. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed on the crater floor amidst the breathtaking surroundings. In the late afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and travel to your campsite near Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast at your campsite, you will depart for Serengeti National Park, renowned for its expansive plains and spectacular wildlife. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes, leading you to the heart of the Serengeti. Upon arrival, you will embark on an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s vast open spaces and observe its diverse wildlife. A picnic lunch will be served during your exploration. In the evening, you will set up camp within the Serengeti, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night under the stars.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park and Return to Arusha
On the final day of your safari, you will have breakfast at the campsite before setting out for a full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park. This day offers additional opportunities to experience the park’s wildlife and landscapes. Depending on the season, you may witness the impressive Great Migration or see other notable wildlife. After a day of exploration, you will return to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon to conclude your private camping safari adventure.
