3-Day Serengeti Safari from Arusha

Your adventure begins early in the morning after breakfast. Our professional driver-guide from Tanzania Joyous Time Expedition will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha or nearby accommodation. You will then begin your scenic drive towards the Serengeti via the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area highlands.

Along the way, you will enjoy stunning views of the Great Rift Valley, rolling savannahs, Maasai villages, and wildlife grazing freely outside the parks. This route offers incredible photography opportunities and a true introduction to Tanzania’s diverse landscapes.

With your packed lunch prepared, you will continue your journey through the highlands and descend into the endless plains of the Serengeti. After an early breakfast at your lodge or tented camp inside the Serengeti, your professional safari driver-guide will take you out for a full-day game drive in a 4×4 safari vehicle. The morning hours are one of the best times to spot wildlife as predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs are still active after the night’s hunt.

As you explore the vast savannah, you may encounter large herds of elephants, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and buffalo moving freely across the plains. The Serengeti’s open landscapes provide excellent visibility, making it one of the best safari destinations in Africa.

After your crater experience, you will ascend the crater rim and begin your scenic drive back to Arusha. Depending on your travel plans, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha or transferred directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
