You’ll start the day with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha, then set off towards the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. This conservation area is renowned for its incredible density of wildlife, offering the chance to see an array of animals, including buffalo, elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and elusive cats like caracals and servals. With some luck, you might even spot a rare rhinoceros.
Around midday, you’ll stop at a scenic picnic site to enjoy lunch boxes before continuing your game drive. The day concludes with a transfer to the Crater rim, where your accommodation awaits.
After breakfast, you’ll embark on a scenic drive from Ngorongoro to the central Serengeti, enjoying an en route game drive along the way. Upon arrival at the lodge, take some time to relax before enjoying lunch. In the late afternoon, you have the option to go on another game drive until evening, after which you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you’ll embark on a safari in the central, eastern, and southern regions of the park. These vast savanna areas offer excellent opportunities to witness cheetahs hunting antelopes, along with a variety of other wildlife, including lions, zebras, buffalo, elephants, hyenas, and ostriches.
In the evening, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for dinner and a chance to relax after an exciting day of exploration.
After breakfast, check out and take your final game drive as you head to Seronera Airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you can either transfer to your chosen accommodation in Arusha or proceed directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward travels.
