Upon your arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport, our safari guide will meet you based on your flight schedule. You’ll be transferred to your hotel, which is about a one-hour drive away. Once you arrive at the lodge, take some time to relax and prepare for your upcoming 6-day Serengeti Big Cats Safari.
You’ll be picked up at the airport in the morning or from your hotel in Dar es Salaam for a scenic 5-hour drive to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on an afternoon boat safari along the majestic Rufiji River, where you can spot an array of wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species.
